Western Alaska - overview
Float Trips in Western AlaskaWestern Alaska consists of the coastal areas bordering the Bering Sea. Rivers flow westerly from the aged Kilbuck and Kuskokwim Mountains, through forests and lowland deltas. The Yukon/Kuskokwim Delta is an aquatic system of immense proportions. The resident species abound in numbers, nourished by nutriments provided by healthy runs of all five species of Pacific salmon. We access these rivers from Bethel or Aniak.

Katmai Region - overview
Katmai Float TripsThe Katmai Region is located on the Alaska Peninsula in south west Alaska, and the waters flow from the Aleutian Range. The terrain is that of ancient mountains and high tundra country descending through sparse forests to scraggly lowlands. This region hosts the largest sockeye salmon runs in the world, nourishing highly productive, world class fishing rivers with trophy sized resident species. Trips begin in King salmon, Alaska.

Alaska Range - overview
Fly FishingThe Alaska Range is a vast arc of mountains that defines South Central Alaska. Weathered at their western extreme, the peaks of the Alaska Range are jagged and geologically younger in the eastern portion (includes Mt. McKinley). The fishing varies from the gentle flows of the Mulchatna drainage in the west to the rushing crystal clear mountain waters flowing into south central Alaska from the north. Healthy populations of resident species and and spawning salmon abound. These rivers may be reached directly from Anchorage.
